Why call it Myrddin? Why the Hat?

Well, as you might imagine, it's a long story. I will try my best to shorten it for you as best I can. It starts with my Grandfather's love of some Mary Stewart Stories about Merlin the Magician. His name in welsh is "Myrddin" and we "borrowed" it. We think he "borrowed" it from a pagan God.

This was his hill, before it was mine. He lends it to me, but watches it still. - Merlin

So here we are, on the hill, a simply amazing location. He lent it to us. We do our best to take good care of it.
